What is the Sign?

In our faith journey, we find ourselves in a dual role: seeking signs of God’s presence and being those signs ourselves. We strive to attune ourselves to God’s wavelength, diligently scanning for signs of divine work in our lives and surroundings. Gathering for worship and fellowship becomes a celebration of these divine sightings, encouraging us to share them openly. We contemplate if our worship spaces embrace the sharing of “God-sightings” and ponder the possibility of soliciting them through social media or smaller church groups. Beyond passive observation, we actively embody God’s presence in the world, dedicating ourselves to presenting God’s goodness through acts of care. This commitment manifests in our care for one another, our efforts in reconciliation, our support for God’s people worldwide, our environmental consciousness, and our advocacy for justice and inclusivity. Our ultimate sign of God’s care for creation is us, as we engage in a continuous journey of faith.
