Building Faith and Connection
The Power of Church Fellowship
Church fellowship is a wonderful way for believers to come together and support one another. It’s a time when we can gather, share our faith, and build meaningful relationships. At Meadowlands, we have a variety of groups that do just that.

Adult Fellowship
… because life is better connected.
Be blessed and journey the seasons of life together with friendly faces. Our fun flock of adults meets together for never-ending nonsense and social spectaculars several times throughout the year.
Quilters
We started in 2008 with a small group who wanted to learn to quilt – one lady was 80, and she wasn’t sure she really was going to finish her beginner quilt, so each month, she would bring different fabrics until she had all the blocks made. We managed to make it work – she finished that quilt and many others. We are a fun, supportive group of ladies who get together to quilt and chat every week. We enjoy working on our own projects as well as donations. We have donated quilts and other quilted items. 7 “Quilts for Humboldt”, 40 Christmas stockings to the Adult day service, quilts for baby showers, a quilt for the church, over 20 quilts for Grace Haven, 10 quilts to Good Shepherds Regina’s place. We also have a road trip twice a year. During Covid, we were able to get together and have to sit and sew on Zoom. We are very happy to be back at the church on Friday mornings.![Adult Fellowship of Friends at The Salvation Army Meadowlands Community Church](https://i0.wp.com/sameadowlands.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/image2.jpg?resize=331%2C246&ssl=1)

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
The men’s fellowship group is open to all men, regardless of age. Some men have brought their teenage sons. The group meets for breakfast on the second Saturday of every month at 8:30. There is a small fee of $10, which includes a breakfast of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, tea, coffee, and orange juice. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. A portion of this fee is donated to our missionary fund. Men start to gather any time after 8:00 am, and fellowship is enjoyed over coffee and tea before breakfast and then around the tables during breakfast. Every meeting is concluded with a brief devotion related to men’s place in the home, church, neighbourhood, workplace, etc.Wednesday Night Volleyball
Volleyball is offered as a venue for Corps and Community adults to get some exercise, have fun and build relationships in a Christian environment. It is open to all adults regardless of age or skill level. It is competitive in the fact that we keep score, but the emphasis is on having fun. We meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 P.M., pick teams and play until 9 P.M. So, dust off your runners and join the fun. All are welcome.![Adult Fellowship of Friends at The Salvation Army Meadowlands Community Church](https://i0.wp.com/sameadowlands.ca/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/volleyball.png?resize=500%2C500&ssl=1)
