With deep-rooted traditions, contemporary expressions, and a heart for the community, the worship ministries at Meadowlands Community Church create an environment where individuals can praise God.

Meadowlands Brass Band

The Meadowlands Corps Band was formed in 1883, comprising of six men dedicated to playing for the honour and glory of God. Today, the Band has over thirty-five members and still plays for the benefit and glory of God through the medium of brass band music. The Band is highly active within the city of Hamilton as they regularly conduct meetings in nursing homes and on the steps of City Hall and are an integral part of the worship on Sunday morning services.

Meadowlands Community Choir

Our choir’s mission is to build a strong sense of community where members can embrace their unique voices and forge lasting connections. We will begin our musical journey by creating an open space for singing, free from the pressures of performances. As we grow, opportunities for performances will be explored.
We believe in embracing individual flexibility. With this comes a project-based membership approach, allowing members to participate based on their availability and interest. More information on this will be given throughout the summer. Anyone aged 16+ is invited to take part!
All rehearsals are held at The Salvation Army Meadowlands Community Church in Ancaster.

Contemporary Worship Team

Our purpose as the praise and worship team is to facilitate joyful and grateful expressions of praise to the Lord, fostering a sense of unity across generations. Through carefully selected songs and collaborations with the other musical groups at our church, we aim to create an inclusive worship experience that resonates with our congregation and the wider community.
